The Proteus series offers unparalleled capabilities, ensuring accurate and efficient test and evaluation processes with advanced commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) transceivers.

Key Features of the Proteus EW Series:

  • Direct Digital Architecture: Utilizes wide bandwidth RF DACs and ADCs for precise signal generation up to 10GHz.
  • High Performance: 4.5GHz of instantaneous transmission bandwidth, deep memory, and dynamic upload capability for continuous waveform memory.
  • Real-Time Adaptability: 2.7GHz of instantaneous receiver bandwidth and a programmable FPGA for real-time threat behavior adaptation.
  • Scalability and Flexibility: Configurable as a benchtop instrument, desktop instrument, or PXI module, offering full-phase coherent operation across all channels.

Advanced Capabilities for Signal Simulation:

  • Frequency Agility: Rapid frequency transitions with built-in wide bandwidth IQ modulators.
  • Multi-Emitter Scenarios: Creates complex multi-emitter environments for electronic warfare simulations.
  • Real-Time Scenario Generation: Dynamic radar mode configurations and real-time scenario generation with large memory.
  • Closed Loop Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) Testing: Implements real-time feedback for radar target generation and altimeter evaluation.
  • Background Electromagnetic Emissions (EME): Adds realism to scenarios with up to 4GHz of background EME.

Tabor is proud to offer new capable and cost-effective solutions in advanced radar applications. “Since we first launched this product line our goals have been to take our customers’ feedback and quickly implement it into new advancements that will meet their needs and allow them to grow and improve into the future”, states Mark Elo, GM of Tabor Electronics NA. “We are proud of what we are able to accomplish with this latest release of equipment. No other solution can match our price to performance ratio.”
